Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German television and film actress best known for her performances in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16she already landed several television roles, such as the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. They praised her part in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this actress. Alexandra has been involved in many notable projects, both nationally and internationally. The British biographical movie Control, the Greek Drama The Dust of Time, and the French historical mini-series Napoleon are among those. In addition, she was a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
